Paul Smith - A/W 2012-2013 – Menswear - Paris

Paul Smith

Let’s take a closer look at the accessories from the collection...

Paul smith always strives to stand out and stand out he did... Whilst the majority of the other Menswear shows took us to the Alps, Smith took us to the sea. The oceanic backdrop set the mood as the designer embraced the coast with jellyfish printed trousers; water rippled print jumpers, lobster woven into jumper collars and splashes of neon and leather that resembled wetsuits.
Accessories were again simple and looked quite wearable for the local fisherman - from the sathcels to the workmen boots. Quite grunge!

The collection was fun and wearable for the adventurous type who has confidence to stand out. All the same if you could see through the crazy, there were some classic staple pieces and Paul’s famous slim lined tailoring filtered through.
