The Grammys is usually an upbeat party for all those involved in the music industry instead this year it was a sombre night as it was the day after the Legend Whitney Houston passed away tragically. At this year’s Grammys the music industry recognised the diva and remembered her for what we loved best, HER VOICE!
The Grammys fashion was like no other – fun, sexy and creative just like the guests... But of course there are those that manage to get dressed in the dark with over payed stylists.
BEST DRESSED
Rihanna was smoking... Some people allow the dress to wear them but Rihanna wore this Giorgio Armani dress perfectly. She said she wanted to look like Michelle Pfeiffer in Scarface and she did but kept true to herself with the addition of some great gold bling.
Giorgio Armani dressed my second best dressed, Adele! The curvy lady sparkled like a real diva in this long gown and those RED lips = flawlessness.
Kelly Rowland got very emotional speaking about Whitney and reminisced about the first time she met her but in that Alberta Ferretti she was reminiscent of the legend. The feminine gown and big hair is gorgeous and something that Whitney like – glamour whilst keeping it real!
Katy Perry was blue, head to toe... Her electric blue hear matched her baby blue Elie Saab gown that looked like it had been made of finely cute blue glass.
Jessie J was mirror ball madness in the Julian McDonald gown that was perfectly edge and feminine all at once.
I have to admit I didn’t know much about Corinne Bailey Rae before the Grammys but the way she wore this black Christian Siriano gown impressed me. Her gorgeous curls was sexy, the dress was fun and the shoes were crazy adorable.
I would have never put Paris Hilton in BEST DRESSED before the Grammys but you can’t deny her this time. She looked glamorous and classy in white Basil Soda. Paris has honestly never looked better...
WORST DRESSED
Fergie has to be the WORST dressed of the night. She made Jean Paul Gaultier look cheap. I LOVE the colour but hate the black knickers... if it was lined it would have been nice but it is just off the runway but on the runway it had smaller knickers and looked like a costume.
Nicki Minaj was this year’s egg in Versace and as a Christian I was slightly offended by the fake priest.
Taylor Swift wore Zuhera Merad terribly. She looked OLD just OLD! The Greek pattern across the bottom resembled Versace but as you can see the woman on the runway was an actual woman and not a young girl drowning in a dress as Taylor did.
Lady Gaga wore Versace but she made it look worse than the usual Gaga concert she made it look like a cheap dominatrix hooker outfit. She didn’t do the red carpet which was a tad disrespectful to Versace and her fans...
