Giorgio Armani - A/W 2012-2013 – Menswear - Milan

Giorgio Armani

Giorgio Armani sent out a men’s collection that looked comfortable to say the least. You could just imagine a cold winter’s night in Europe and wanting to wrap your arms around any of the Armani models who looked so warm and cosy in their knits and sweaters.
The Armani man today manages to make the traditional winter aesthetic of tweed and corduroy look chic and modern for any city man to take from office to the bar.

J'adore the elegant bag designs and the patent shoes didn't go unnoticed – a bit BEYOND ADDICTED with patent at the moment.

Sticking to a colour palette seen throughout the shows this season, the Armani men were draped in blue, grey and black with an extra touch of electric blue leather. The extra pop of colour came from the female models which accompanied a few of the men, I think as a peekaboo for what is to come.
I loved the quiffed hair and berets but above all I enjoyed the production value. The coordination of models was perfect. Signore Armani sent out two, sometimes three models out at a time and matched them perfectly – some models even looked identical.
If you have the time check out the link below – it was one of the best shows of the season.
