A new year begins and as does a new season of runway shows...
THE menswear shows are always a good predecessor as to what’s to come for the womenswear shows, which are just around the corner. Hence, this fashion formula makes me study what the men have to offer more closely. In the following posts you will find my favourite of the A/W 2012-2013 season...
Alexander McQueen
It is quite obvious that Ms. Burton is getting very comfortable at the realm whilst presenting her fourth menswear collection for McQueen. She pulled together a structured, modern and as always luxurious look for the McQueen man who appreciates perfect tailoring, has the confidence to pull off a chic long coat and still enjoys relaxing in a bomber jacket for a more casual day.
The traditional Englishmen who sport the McQueen A/W collection will bring a modern twist with Burtons stunning choice of fabrics. The choice of suede, prints and iridescent materials works perfectly with the double breasted and tightly tailored looks.
Burton explained to WWD, “I wanted it to be chic and elegant”...and I am sure you would agree she did exactly that BEYOND PERFECTLY!!!
